Within living cells, various organelles can perform their respective functions in an orderly manner because there is a core within living cells that controls the activities of organelles. This core is the cell nucleus. If the nucleus of a fertilized egg is destroyed, it is impossible for the fertilized egg to develop into a new individual. Even if the enucleated single-celled organism can live for a few more days, it will no longer be able to ingest food, reproduce, and will eventually die. Among the cells of eukaryotes, except for a few special cells (such as human mature red blood cells) that are non-nuclear, all cells have nuclei, but the number and size of nuclei vary depending on the type of organism. When cells do not divide, the shape of the nucleus is mostly spherical and consists of nuclear membrane, nuclear cytoplasm and chromatin. If we compare cells to an independent country, then the cell nucleus is the country's "high command". In nature, there are single-celled organisms composed of one cell, such as amoeba, and multicellular organisms composed of hundreds of billions of cells, such as mammals. In multicellular organisms, as cells develop (differentiate) in different directions, a variety of cells with special functions are formed. Although they have various shapes and sizes vary greatly, they all have a cell nucleus. Highly complex and orderly life activities are carried out under the unified command of the cell nucleus, the highest command.
